i think i went a little too hard week one. i needed some rest mid week, and took a couple days off. i only missed my mileage goal by four miles, but i think i need to be smarter with sleep/food/rest.
monday: hollywood boulders, 1 mile run, kickball (2 hour cross train)
tuesday: fleet feet trail training, one loop (.6 miles)
wednesday: rest (no hockey, no run)
thursday: rest (no hockey, no run)
friday: orange theory (1.9 miles on the treadmill) (30 min cross train)
saturday: shadow of the giants 20k fun run (12 miles)
sunday: run near the campsite (4 miles)
weekly mileage goal: 24 miles
total miles: 19.7 miles
cross training: 2.5 hours
foam rolling: 5 minutes

– i love my new watch.
– i have no idea what a strava suffer score is. but i do know my 20k fun run gave me an “epic” score of 513.
– i had an amazing time at the shadow of the giants race and can’t wait to go back next year.
– i finally lost my black toenail in yosemite. they say, “what happens in yosemite stays in yosemite.” i guess my toenail will be staying there too.
