the only thing more inconsistent than my running is my blog updates.
week two: 9.3 miles
week three: 11.5 miles
i am blaming the low miles from these two weeks on finals/work stress.
my classmates and i have started joking about our “mba-bods” – our ever expanding bodies due to the stress and lack of time to work out due to this evening mba program.
week four: 14.3 miles
week five: 28.2 miles
week six: 27.7 miles
there are two big reasons for the mileage boost in weeks five and six:
1. actually completing scheduled long runs (10 and 13 miles)
2. the lululemon 40/80 challenge (completing 50 miles in two weeks for a lululemon discount)
i’m 9 weeks from the marathon, still lots of work to do, but i’m also finally feeling on track training wise. classes start again tonight so that could quickly be derailed, but we’ll see.
