i was forced to rest this week due to eight stitches on my chest. that meant no kickball, no hockey, no orange theory fitness. i did talk to the doctor about running on saturday (six days after the incision) and she told me how to make it work.
so here’s my weekly run down:
saturday: 22 miles
total: 22 miles
pretty lame, i know. but i am really proud of myself for finishing the 22 and not feeling like death after.
on sunday we went to the rock climbing gym. i was worried i would be too sore after the long run (and about the stitches) but it felt great. somehow my muscles hurt less after climbing than they did before. i also bought climbing shoes so now i have to go back.
less than a month until the marathon! eek!
