… on a wednesday.
two weeks after my marathon, and i’m back to marathon training (for the LA marathon on feb 14th).
monday: rest (sleep)
tuesday: rest (nap then trivia)
wednesday: hockey (we lost 9-1, but i got an assist!)
thursday: rest (i was feeling sick so i made grilled cheese and tomato soup, and went to bed)
friday: rest (kings/wild game)
saturday: 2 mile shakeout run with nike run club (more on this later)
sunday: 13.1 miles, nike women’s half marathon (more on this later too)
total: 15.1 miles
the half marathon went slowly (due to knee soreness) but nothing like the pain i felt at mile 3 of the marathon.
i have one more half marathon this week, and then i will re-join the group for my long runs.
