today is day one of my seventeen week journey to train for the LA marathon on march 15. every monday, i will post an update on the training and mileage from the previous week. i will be training with the fleet feet burbank marathon training program, our first meeting is tomorrow.
i have also decided to give up pop (also known as soda, coke, carbonated soft drinks) for the duration of the training program. i’m not sure if that or the running will be harder (just joking).
