another marathon monday with two weeks combined in it. and unfortunately, both weeks had sub par mileage.
wednesday: drove to utah after work
thursday: ran/hiked 4 miles near our campground at zion
friday: canyoneered in the narrows at zion national park
saturday: drove back to LA
sunday: new year’s race (5k and half marathon)
total: 20.3 miles
tuesday: mile repeats for 4.7 miles (at 9:11 pace)
wednesday: orange theory fitness in the morning and hockey at night (we lost 9-5)
saturday: all girls kickball tournament (we lost in the semi finals)
sunday: bouldering thanks to a livingsocial deal (and now i can’t squeeze my hands)
total: 4.7 miles
we have our last long run this week before the taper starts. i am currently fighting mild shin pain and some stitches that will slow me down mid week but shouldn’t stop me from running saturday.
