almost three entire weeks behind. so terrible, i know. i’m sorry.
i went home for the fourth of july (and an extended weekend) and almost entirely disconnected from real life. it was wonderful. i ate delicious food, saw many great friends, went to a weird al concert and minor league baseball game, and spent some quality time with my family (which consists of my parents and their new puppy, sheldon).
i will post about minnesota and sheldon soon, i am still catching up on life.
marathon training, week two:
monday: hockey (we won!)
tuesday: strength training workout
thursday: 12 miles with a friend who i will call “e”
friday: kickball game, no run
saturday: kickball tournament (with my las vegas friends)
sunday: kickball practice
marathon training, week three:
monday: hockey (we lost)
tuesday: i missed my strength training workout and was lazy
wednesday: corn hole
thursday: flew to minnesota!
friday: 2.6 miles around the neighborhood
saturday: approximately 1 mile (up and down a hill 4 times)
sunday: rest (but i did take a golf lesson, happy father’s day vatti)
i am not going to tally up the mileage because, well, it’s too depressing/embarrassing/pathetic.
but i now have an even better reason to get my butt into marathon shape… i “won” the lottery and am running the nike women’s half marathon in sf!
